Sometimes you need one answer — is this ID genuine, is this person on a sanctions list, who really owns this company — without opening a full client record. Quick Checks in BPSi Verify does exactly that: pick a check, run it, and download a report for your file.
Important: a Quick Check is not customer due diligence (CDD) for AUSTRAC on its own. It's a building block for your own KYC/KYB process. No client record is created, and you decide how the result fits your file.
What you can check
Identity
- ID check: verify the details of an Australian-issued identity document (passport, driver licence or Medicare card) through the government document verification system, with your client's consent.
- ID check by link: send your client a secure link so they enter their own document details. You see the result when they finish.
Screening (each one stands alone)
- Sanctions (AML Lite): screens a person's name against sanctions lists.
- PEP screen: checks whether a person is a politically exposed person.
- Adverse media: searches for negative news about a person.
Company data
- ASIC company extract: the company's current or historical ASIC record: details, officeholders and shareholders, listed by the company's registered name, with ASIC's reference number for each extract.
- Ownership search: who ultimately owns the company, with any entities that need follow-up.
How it works
- Open Quick Checks and choose a check.
- Enter the details once. For company checks, enter the ACN and then choose what you want to know.
- The token price is shown before you confirm. If a check can't be completed, you're not charged.
- View the result on screen and download the PDF. Each report stands on its own, with the full detail on the page.
- Every Quick Check is listed under Client Register → Quick Checks, so you can find it again.
